At ROL, sustainability is integrated into how we design, manufacture, and deliver solutions across our businesses. We believe that lasting progress is achieved through practical actions, measurable improvements, and close collaboration with customers, suppliers, and employees. Our ambition is not only to reduce the environmental impact of our own operations, but also to help our customers make more informed and sustainable decisions.
Sustainability is embedded throughout the value chain. From product development and sourcing to manufacturing, logistics, and end-of-life considerations, we continuously work to identify opportunities that reduce environmental impact while maintaining the functionality, quality, and commercial value our customers expect.
A key part of this work is our Low-Carbon Offering, where we actively evaluate alternative materials, product designs, manufacturing methods, and transportation solutions to reduce product-related emissions. By combining engineering expertise with data-driven decision-making, we help customers understand where meaningful reductions can be achieved and what actions provide the greatest impact.
To support transparency and fact-based decisions, we use Lifecycle Analysis (LCA) to assess environmental performance across the entire product lifecycle. This enables us to identify hotspots, compare alternatives, and quantify improvements based on actual data rather than assumptions. The insights generated through our LCA work help both ROL and our customers prioritize initiatives that deliver measurable results.
While sustainability is a long-term journey, our focus is on taking action today. Through continuous improvements in our operations, investments in more sustainable solutions, and collaboration throughout the value chain, we strive to enable the transition towards a lower-carbon and more resource-efficient future.
