A department that stands out
The new candy department has been designed to create a strong visual presence within the store. Large “GODIS” signage, colourful graphics and a consistent red, black and white colour palette clearly frame the area and help turn it into a destination of its own.
Made for pick & mix
A large part of the concept is built around the pick & mix experience. The displays provide customers with a clear overview of the wide assortment while keeping the products easy to access. Transparent containers and open sightlines allow the colours of the candy itself to become an important part of the visual expression.

Details that improve the experience
Small functional details have been integrated throughout the department to make the customer journey smoother. Dedicated scoop storage, bag dispensers, weighing stations and clearly positioned product information make it easy for customers to move through the different steps of choosing and purchasing their candy.
Flexible and generous displays
The department combines long wall sections with freestanding displays and end solutions to create a generous amount of product space. Different display formats make it possible to present everything from pick & mix candy to packaged products while maintaining a consistent look throughout the area. The result is a flexible retail environment built around both visibility and accessibility.

We are revisiting the forecourt store OKQ8 that is next to Landvetter airport in Gothenburg, where the new concept rollout called “Quick To Go” started in 2014. “Since this first store delivery, ROL Retail Concepts have completed about 240 store deliveries to OKQ8 – updating their stores to the Quick To Go concept” – says Maria Sandberg, Project manager at ROL Retail Concepts.

ROL Retail Concepts would like to proudly present our latest delivery to Maxi ICA Visby. The whole store has been refurbished and It features a completely new store concept. ICA has commissioned the design agency BLINK to design the new store concept. This store is so much more than just an ordinary grocery store.
